Amazon Kindle Adding Real Page Numbers

Kindle 3 generation owners are the first to browse and reference on page numbers Kindle books with the correspondent print editions. It is Amazon latest software upgrade 3.1, adding real page numbers to Kindle books. This new feature comes along with other useful additions:

Make your notes public and share with others.

Rate and share your opinion in the social media of books read.

A fresh layout for newspapers and magazines.

Amazon Web Services informed that real page numbers are available in 10.000 of the most popular Kindle books including bestselling books.

This software update feature, "added real page numbers" satisfied the interest and need for many Kindle owners of matching the correspondent counterpart print materials they happen to read or study at club books, at the school, university or professional office. Clearly, it has an academic purpose for some, while for others not make a bit of difference -- those who get lost in the reading--, and no need point of reference.

Systems are not always perfect, and while Kindle popularity is still in the raising, the technology under which Kindle reader is operating, had a long way to go when comes to deliver a perfect system to match every page number in print editions Amazon Kindle decides to convert electronically.

But, while these considerations on Kindle are taking place among all of us, you might observe that printed publications are considerably less popular as time goes by, notice many newspapers and magazines publications are switching to e-books readers, as a palliative and direct result of lower traditional subscriptions and sales. Authors are already publicizing online instead of prints. We are in an earlier stage of a transitional process from paper text to electronic display. So while that switching long process is on, Amazon Web Services is trying the best to duplicate death-tree versions.

In the future we will probably perceive real page numbers so archaic, while we will refer to a location number instead, as e-publishing will take over traditional print.
